Some of the newspapers gave listings, but only overall, not by subject, which not much help. The "proper" league tables take months to appear. Best thing is probably to look at the last few years as any one year can have a blip.

2011 GCSE results are still not finalised as remarks can still be requested -

As suggested above look at historic data - sometmes schools post their provisional results on their website.

Thank you for the reply.

Can someone help me out if any one has children at Langley, Hall Green, Light Hall or at Alderbrook.

I got space for only 3 schools but not sure which three to put.

I know will only decide after seeing the school with my child but little idea about the school will be appreciated.

Many Thanks.

No ball's links were A levels (FT) and very incomplete (DM)

- no offence no ball, but you are right, getting hold of info is hard, although many schools have placed their results on their website.

Some significant increases in Birmingham this year (% 5 a* to C inc. Eng and Math) were:
Kings Heath Boys (+14% to 49%)
Handsworth Wood Girls (+10% to 59%)
Fairfax (+15% to 77%)
Wheelers Lane (+14% to 61%)
Waverley (+17% to 66%)
Bishop Challenor (+9% to 80%)

Some significant decreases this year:
Arthur Terry (down 10% to 70%)
Hamstead Hall (down 15% to 55%)
Kings Norton Girls (down 10% to 65%)

Light Hall is advertising 89% on its site but note this is % 5 a*-C, not including English and Maths! I would also like to know the result including Eng and Math!

None taken um, it's all I had to hand electronically as I lost interest after DS got in this year. I am sure information can be had via time spent on google..
