writing workings on papers
my understanding is that its ok to use the paper as opposed to scrap paper for workings - as particularly the code type question it is easier to use the question etc. some of the practice papers (they are the standard ones) say 'use a separate sheet of paper - do not write on the question paper - can someone please confirm that children can write things down on the question paper as long as their answer is clearly legible and in the right place??? thank you

Alex replied to this on your original thread:

DD has been scribbling all over her papers for some time.
Good Luck

If Alex says it's OK.... then I would believe it to be soIn Lincolnshire it is fine to scribble all over the paper so long as the final answer is written legibly in the correct space. Scrap paper is not provided.
