Downton Abbey

Post by zorro »

Delighted that this has returned! Really enjoyed the first episode.
Anyone else fans of this programme?
Also love Doc Martin which returned last week. I come from Cornwall and know Port Isaac ( Port Wenn ) very well so love to see it on TV - makes me homesick though!

I love it so much that everytime I start typing a word beginning with D on my iPhone it spell corrects it to Downton after the third letter!

Yes I agree. Great to see both of these programmes back. Thoroughly enjoy watching both. I think Autumn television is the best. :D

I did the opposite and recorded Spooks so that I could watch Downton Abbey. I probably should have done it the other way round so as to be able to fast forward the many adverts! Really enjoy both programmes and it will be a shame to see Spooks finish. Also enjoying Doc Martin this time round.

I hadn't really watched Doc Martin before but I found it really funny and told DH his stern ways were like his which meant he spent the whole programme horrified....can only improve his behaviour  Recorded Downton for tonight...looking forward to new characters....and to spend a whole day at work tomorrow discussing it with a colleague..everyone else will just have to listen !

I am so glad Downton Abbey is back, I looked forward to it all week and wasn't disappointed! :D :D :D It always seems so short I can't believe it was an hour and a half.
