I think you should start looking for that knowing look any day now.
Our head was 'out' yesterday so I have read into that probably... too much!
Keep trying to convince myself that ignorance is bliss. Doesn't blooming feel like it!!!
Chip up. We are nearly there.

Edited to read 'chin up'.

Results were with the schools on Tuesday/Weds this week.

Don't get too paranoid or listen to the playground rumour frenzie or you will never survive until results day! ;)

Do you all really think they know by now?
How do you know that?
What inside info do you have?
It just give me the shivers to think they already know and we have to wait another17 days and 12 hours!

The schools get the results first so the head can write an appeal if they think it is justified. This is before we would get a chance of appeal. I believe that the English is also marked by the school when the mark is boarder line.

I don't think the story is marked by the school, it's one of the pieces of evidence evaluated by the review panel at which the headteacher chooses to support children who have failed but who he/she considers are of grammar school ability.

When my DD did her exam as an OOC candidate the head of the grammar where she took the test told us that the written English test was put in a box and left to gather dust never to see the light of day again (or words to that effect!).

ps. I think "Chip up!" sounds rather nice!

OMG, I didn't realise that!!! Our Head has been really smiley and friendly towards us over the last few days - does that mean good news - or feeling sympathy for us?
