Is there any point in writing anything on the application to justify your wanting a place at any particular school? I am sure we all have lots to say about why our particular DC deserves a place at a particular school but how can it make a difference if selection is on 11+ score and ranking? if there is a point what sort of things are worth mentioning?

I filled it in on DS2's application form.

We wanted him at the same school as DS1. This school couldn't use the sibling criteria but most LEA schools do for good reason, it was one of the factors we intended to use if we had needed to appeal.
