Tiffin Boys Test
Sorry if this has been covered before..I was wondering how the Tiffin Boys' papers are marked. My DS is very good on VR (gets between 95-100% on tests) but can vary incredibly on NVR (between 70-90%). If it is an average mark between both papers what sort of percentage is a pass mark?
Tiffin is currently number 1 on the CAF but I am wondering if his NVR score may make this a waste of time. Or will his hopefully high VR score make a difference to his overall mark? I hope this makes sense!

there is no "fail" mark in Tiffin exam, and high VR score can make a difference. For example, if your DS scores 130 in Vr paper, and 100 in NVr, he is comfortably in. Final cut off mark For Tiffin boys usually varies from 223 to 226 (last 4 years information).

Many thanks la boume-that actually has made me feel much better as I was almost writing off tiffin thinking a) you had to score highly on both papers and b) the pass mark was much higher. We will certainly give it a go in this case.
