Tiffin Boys - NVR

Hello All,

Can anyone tell me whether the NVR paper at Tiffin Boys has to be completed in timed sections, where you cannot return to a previous section or advance to the next section if you are ready until the time?

Also how many question types are there usually, and can these be drawn from all the NFER types

As far as I am aware it is 50 mins to work through 80 questions with no timed sections. The NVR has four sections each with 20 questions on one particular NVR question type. When my DD did it two years ago we were disappointed there were no codes and a v difficult odd one out section. If I am wrong please could someone correct me ? Also if anyone can remember the four types used last year that would be great info as well.

I can recall vaguely, the four sections that turned up last year were codes, similarities, analogies and sequences. Odd one out and matrices were not in the test last year. Good luck.
