Cloze tests
Hi, I've just read about these on another thread and hadn't come across them before. Are they part of the Kingston/ Sutton exams? If so, are there any recommended books/ websites to practice these? Are they part of Verbal Reasoning?
TIA!

Re: Cloze tests
I think the cloze tests are mainly exclusive to Birmingham and wouldn't come up as a verbal reasoning component but might under English. They are tests with a portion of text with certain words removed,or you might have letters missing.
I've found a website you might like to try, though it might be too simple.

Thanks for replying, Thingsbehindthesun. It strikes me that, even if they don't come up in the 11+ itself, they're quite fun things to do now, to build up comprehension skills/ vocabulary.
