Tiffins girls exam - no stationery at all ?

Post by QUEENMA »

Dear veterans

Just received the Tiffins Girls exams details letter - Am I right in thinking they do not want the girls to carry any stationery at all - not even pencils / erasers ?

Is that what happens every year ?

Many thanks

I think so. I wonder if the girls are allowed to bring a snack, apart from water bottle.

Oh yes - the letter mentions snack and drink is okay but no stationery.

The snack of any sorts is not mentioned, just "a small bottle of water for the brief refreshment break between the tests". My first thought was that school will provide some biscuits. We really need wise veterans here!

If I remember correctly I think it is just the coloured paper slip with candidate number and a bottle of water only. You need to eat your snack in the queue before you go in. No mascots either.

No snacks were given last year. Just the bottle of water allowed.
Last year the test was in jan and was pouring with rain.

Thank you for your replies. Hopefully girls will be out of there at lunchtime, so snack may not be needed.
Another silly question, can someone remember if it was cold in the hall?

I didn't hear of anyone complaining of being cold, and thought the test seemed to run well particularly considering the huge number of candidates, although my daughters group was the last to emerge from the school.
