Do I have to use the GL mathematics practice books?
I'm new to the 11plus forum. My daughter's in Year 5 currently and we've started practicing. Just wanted to see if we need to purchase the maths books as well as the GL VR books? Or are we purely dealing with the 21 question types? Thanks in advnce for any help/advice.

Yes we're only on vocab and division tables. No question for a long time yet.

As you can see numbers don't appear too often and when they do there aren't always calculations to do. The relevant methodology re the types needs to be in place and practised rather than purchasing any maths books. Quick mental maths (basic multiplication, division, addition and subtraction) and solid times table knowledge also need to be the focus.
