Re: Habs 2011 - Question 24
If it costs US 60 less in NY, then the cost of the unit is US90 plus US 60 = US 150
US 150 converted in £ = £100 - converted in NZ is NZ$200
I think
My head hurts.
I am not good at these, but I do try as I am sure it is good for me ...

Re: Habs 2011 - Question 24
A person in New Zealand saves US$60 by buying it from NY. Means, it costs US$60 more at New Zealand.
Price of Hoodie at New Zealand = US$90 + US$60 = US$150.
We don't have a direct conversion between US$ and NZ$. Hence we will first convert the US$ to £ and then to NZ$.
£1 = US$1.5 => US$1.5 = £1
Hence, US$150 = £100 (multiplying both sides with 100)
Now, £1 = NZ$2
Hence, £100 = NZ$200.
Cost of hoodie in New Zealand = NZ$200

Re: Habs 2011 - Question 24
It's a bit sad when Habs think they are being 'cool' by setting a question about hoodies don't you think!
