Kendrick 2012
I am new to all this - has Kendrick always had a designated area?
Re: Kendrick 2012
No, there was a vague statement about travelling times.BeckyM wrote:I am new to all this - has Kendrick always had a designated area?
They now plan to use a postcode list similar to Reading School to enforce it.
This maybe a knock-on effect from the Wokingham/Reading/Maiden Erlegh dispute that led to the proposed ballot to end selection at Reading and Kendrick.

Thanks - I am RG1 so I guess this is good news for me. I am not a fan of 'vague'

Well I guess it's a step in the right direction in terms of improving access to GS for "local" girls, but the cynic in me agrees that this is most likely linked to the ME situation, or even the other conspiracy theory about local influential people with children of GS age.
But I can't see how reasonable travelling time concerns would exclude Hungerford with its train links to Reading, yet include parts of Bucks up to the M40 (who already have access to GS) and parts of Surrey like Farnborough.
