City of London School for Girls Interview Tips/Information

Hi, Will be grateful if anyone can share some experience about what to expect in CLSG Yr-7 interview. Also what is approx no of places available for Yr 7.

DD got an interview call today for next Friday, 27th Jan.

Well done to your dd for securing an interview. Lots of girls missed out this year. The Head Diana Vernon is a firm believer that the interview is the vehicle for weeding out the overtutored girl. This is what my dd told me about her interview. She was shown a piece of art and asked her opinion of it and also various cards with prices on them were held up and she was asked to total them. She did tell me more just a couple of hours ago but pathetically I have forgotten already! You the parents also get to sit and chat and ask questions with The Head and her Senior Management team, the Head of Year 7, the Head of Sixth form, the Head of KS3. Various teachers come and go. We were there for ages as dd had a music audition as well as her interview. We both had a very enjoyable morning! DG
