Colfe's exam
any feedback from Colfe's entrance exam? My daughter took it this morning and was a little disappointed because she said the maths was quite easy, with little time pressure (everyone in her room finished with plenty of time), and she was prepared for something a bit harder.
I know that sounds like a strange concern, but they have got rid of the reasoning paper this year, so only have maths and English. If the maths wasn't that demanding, there will be lots of bunching of marks, making it hard to differentiate between children, and any silly slips could be given disproportionate importance. Also, couldn't see any obvious "scholarship" standard questions. Normally they're fairly conspicuous, whether you can do them or not.

colfes waiting list
anyone got the offer letter from colfes. On a waiting list. What does this mean in practice?
Re: Colfe's exam
My DS found the exams easy as well in comparison to Kent tests.
We know at least 2 boys who had scholarships interviews last week.
We are not sure if we will choose Colfe's over place at Grammar School or Eltham college...
Are you considering other schools as well?
