I think most of us are wishing we picked your username    - Does that tell you how confident we feel?

Only 2 more days to go now. I am sure we can expect an update from um about the exact countdown soon - I am too scared to work it out. Um, are you still counting in days and hours, or have you whittled it down to just hours now :?:

Hi nervous. Work during the day then chauffeur me 4 kids to after school activities then I'm on here for a lil while & a lil while more

Do I feel confident my ds3 will get grammar school place? Me don't know, but all I can tell you I'm nearly ill with worry cos his eldest 2 attend chosen grammar, so no pressure really

Oh dear feel another migraine coming on    only joking

Go have a lie down Zeinab! I know, I know..... there's not much chance of that.

Is there any particular grammar that you are hoping for?

Im counting in days and hours :p
but counting is not helping if im totally honest.

And zeinab i have the exact same problem/fear
I dont worry about his education as a whole and personally never wat to put my kids through it ( if i make that choice :p), i think its too much pressure on the child and stress on the parents.

Im hoping this forum will help relax me some :D

Hi Umsusu. Well there's 3 in the area, one takes 10mins by car so prefer that one really but as beggars can't be choosers, have put all of them on CAF as well as decent state schools. we will see what happens on Thursday. :D

2 days 3 hours 44 minutes.

Not counting in hours until the last 24....

No I am not 'confident' that ds2 will make Grammar. But I am feeling more mellow than lately for some reason.

I have to trust now, as the birds do when they wake up hungry in the morning and sleep at night full.

'All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well'

I hope and pray that there will be good in the school he has been allocated.

I don't know if this would help but I have started cooking in the evenings with DC. Last night we made rock cakes with raisins. Not only therepeutic but quite tasty

@UM i have the same worry
Its very odd with my younger brother because he is intelligent and I know he'll do better than me but its just something about the test that makes me uneasy : /

Ithink something we should remember is that they probably feel the same as us , so whatever happens they tried their best and we must remember the size of the competition , somebody has to fail , just not us hopefully :p

Best of luck to all
