Online Tutor advice Please !

Post by panichead »

Hi I know everyone is super stressed at the moment but if someone could pm me their experiences of online tutoring or could point me in the right direction of a good online platform to practice I would be super grateful.

This would be as a supplement to her formal tutoring, so doesn't need to be intense, just online quizzes, practice sheets etc!

Thanks !

I think everyone is now in such a high state of panic that you may have to wait for an answer, it is almost like living in a bubble with real life going on around you!

Sorry, I don't have any tutor info myself.

These games test speed and accuracy, and are fun!!

mad4maths is another good one, especially if she enjoys toilet humour!

There are plenty more maths games on woodlands junior site

also

http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/math.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

if you need anything more specific just ask, I have bookmarked hundreds for school!

simple games witha pack of cards, deal 2 and either add or multiply, first to get it right gets the pair of cards . You can also subtract 2nd card from 1st card. Deal 3 for addition to add an extra layer of difficulty.

Deal 2 cards face up to make a 2 digit number.

Deal 5 more face up.

task is to use all 5 numbers and the four operations to make the 2 digit number. 3 points if you get it exactly, 2 points if you are +/- 1, 1 point +/- 5 of target.

you can either remove picture cards or use them as Jack =11, Queen=12, King = 13.
