PDF files will not print - help please
Please can some enlightened person help me with printing. Alot of files I can print alright. eg. word documents, etc. However, every so often, I try to download and print a document or file and the download version comes up with a lot of gobblygook. I think they are PDF files. I'm not sure how to resolve this. Please help. Thanks.

I sometimes find that a pdf prints in gobbledygook if I close the file before it has printed. No idea why, though.

Re: PDF files will not print - help please
i had this - all pdf files were printing as if in Chinese.
Go to file Print
Then there's a little tab in there 'Advanced'
Click on that and then check the box that says 'Print as Image'
Try to print again, hopefully your file will print ok.

Are they being opened with Adobe Reader or are they being opened with a microsoft program?
It could be that you need to associate Adobe Reader to pdf files
In Windows 7:
Windows Start
Control Panel
Choose the programs that Windows uses by default
Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program
Then check what the pdf is associated with ( it should be adobe acrobat reader )

This is what I did. First remove Adobe Reader. Next, uninstall your printer and restart your computer. Windows will update the printer driver provided you have your printer connected. Once you have let windows intall the printer driver, re-install Adobe Reader (I downloaded it again). Now my computer can print the adobe files without a problem.
