Next round of allocations

I understand that we had to accept our school places within 14 days. When do admissions start to offer places to those highest on the waiting list, if not everyone has accepted a place?

I don't know officially, but a friend of mine was told she should hear by the end of next week as she's top of the list - we're in Notts though so don't know if that makes a difference.

Thank you, yes we're in Notts, I'm asking for a friend who is 2nd as we are too far down the reserve list I'm sure, unless there's a mass emigration

What school are you after? My friend is waiting for a good, out of town comp as unfortunately her son failed the 11+. I am aware that a neighbour of mine has turned down a place at Kings. Good luck, and hope you and your friend are happy with the outcome.

My friends hopeful at place 2-fingers crossed for her for this week. I am appealing, DD scored high but school oversubscribed. Thank you, its a testing time.......................
