Travelling from Chelmsford to Southend
My ds is due to start SHSB in Sept 2012 and wondered if any other 'new' boys will also be going from the Chelmsford area.

Re: Travelling from Chelmsford to Southend
Firstly, well done to both your sons for getting into SHSB it's a fantastic school and I'm sure they'll do well there.
I'm guessing if your son is getting the bus opposite the KFC then they will be on SBC coaches, route B.
Just to put your mind at rest, my son is just finishing yr.11 at SHSB and has been on this bus for all 5 years (he gets on at The Angel in Broomfield). The service is excellent and we've been very happy. My son is very happy too and the bus journey is often one of the highlights of his day (he enjoys spending time with all those girls from WHSG!)
All being well with GCSE results, he will be on the bus again in September as he is planning to stay on for 6th form - I'm sure he'll keep an eye out for the younger boys and if they've any questions they can ask him.
