Dublin anyone been?

Going on a girly weekend to Dublin.

Does anyone have any advice on things to see,good restaurants etc?

It is well worth taking the tour of Kilmainham Gaol, albeit that afterwards you'll probably feel the need to visit the Guinness brewery to recover :D .

In a life before DD we did a walking tour which involved stopping off in lots of pubs :)

There's a great open top bus, you can hop on and hop off (at the aforementioned brewery!!). I guess there are various places to get tickets but we got them at the Tourist info place near Grafton Street. While on Grafton Street you have to poke your nose in Brown Thomas and then have tea/lunch in Bewleys. Get a table upstairs and look at the amazing stained glass. I took a tour of Trinity College including the book of Kells. Cost about 10 euro but I was the only person on it so a very personal tour!
Lots of fab restaurants with good offers, check out Trip advisor. I could recommend a few but so many to choose from...
