Susan Daughtrey Practice Test Papers Pack 2 Test 6 Q23 help
Find the pair of words that contain 4 letters hidden word:
The man wore a flat hat.
Answer:
The man
man wore
wore a
a flat
flat hat.
My son got 'The man' as his answer, but the answer is 'flat hat'. He was frustrated as he believed his answer was also correct.
Please advice.
Thanks

Both answers would be correct - don't think they would get away with that as a real test question I hope??

Many thanks for your prompt reply DC17C.
I thought both answer was as well. Really hope that the real exams questions would not be like this.

From memory this is the only error in the SD papers.
If the tests are set by a reputable company such as GL (I assume that you are aiming for Glos?), there definitely be no such ambiguities in them. I can only recall one occasion when there was an error in the real tests, and it wasn't a GL paper.
