Err, possibly ...
My copy reads "bear" instead of "beat" in the second set. The closest meanings are therefore "carry" and "bear".Q15. Options:
grizzly, bag, carry
heavy, beat, load

Grizzly = Leaden = Heavy...I think. I would definitely not expect my 10 year old to know grizzly = leaden!

Was a bit by Q3 same paper... 'Campanology (!!!) is to (tents, bells, flowers) as ecology is to (fish, pollution, habitats). (exclamation marks are mine...)

Grizzly (or grizzled) and leaden might mean "grey" ("under a leaden sky", or "his beard was grizzled"). And leaden can mean heavy as well ("after running a mile, his legs felt leaden"). But grizzly does not mean heavy in any context.Tagore wrote:Grizzly = Leaden = Heavy...I think. I would definitely not expect my 10 year old to know grizzly = leaden!
