Approximate Pass %
The ago old question I'm affraid....
Approximately what percentage will be required to pass the 11+ in September 2012 in the Wirral. I understand that it cannot be accurate as the pass mark alters with circumstances, I am just after an approximate band.
Thank you.

Re: Approximate Pass %
Really does depend.
Kent 50-55%
Glos 70%
Wirral ?

Re: Approximate Pass %
Bucks 85%+
You could try posting in the specific Wirral section? May get a more helpful answer.

Re: Approximate Pass %
Anyone any idea for North Yorkshire (Ermysteds)? - I know the scores are about 220-225 but no idea what approx % on a test that equates to.

Re: Approximate Pass %
Hi
I seem to remember from my eldest son's year-It's similiar to Bucks-normally falls somehwere between 82 and 85% and scores are then age adjusted-younger candidate have points added-no points are ever taken away from the older ones-so the borderline is around 85%-achieve higher % and you should be fine . Other admission tests are slightly different-I think St Anslems is something like 55-60% on the english and maths tests but similar to the other grammar schools for the verbal reasoning paper 80%-don't know about the girls schools sorry
