NVR for Tiffin

Post by tumpa »

Hi All
Quick check on what all you are practicing for NVR for Tiffin? Is it the following:
- Bond Assessment Papers
- GL Assessment papers
Or anything else? Any info on set patterns for Tiffin or level of difficulty? E.g. For VR I am told the level of difficulty is same as Walsh or Susan D papers..any similar example for NVR?

Tiifins claim their papers to be higher in difficulty level than the practice papers available in the market. Whatever, this means.

For NVR, we also did AE, and Learning together. We will do GL papers during summer break and hope to be ready by the exam dates. Some of the GL questions are known to be tricky and lot of help is on NVR threads.

There is less material around for NVR practice generally, have you looked at the EPE Downloads?

suitable material suggested here

Thanks Guys
Just a quick question. Any idea what kind of % Raw score is a good score for tiffin in general. Assume a std GL assessment paper and ignore the standardisation. Someone told me a score of 85% is good enough for cut-off?
Any ideas?

Unlike Bucks or Kent tests, such data is not available for Tiffins, which claim their tests to be much more difficult than the practice papers available in the market.

Cut-off score would also depends on the cohort. These days children are more and more prepared. We are told that even 90% may not be enough. Hope that this is not true, but that's what is locally known.

The cut off Mark is higher for Tiffin Girls so for Tiffin Boys you can get 3 or 4 more questions wrong on each paper.
