Kent tests are in the multiple choice format BUT they do not do an English test.

They do a piece of writing which is looked at only in the event of a Head Teacher appeal.

For the Kent Test you need to be focussing on Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning. It is said that the papers most closely resembling the content and look of the Kent Test are the GL Assessment papers.

I hope this helps.

And that is because GL Assessment set the Kent papers for VR, NVR and maths - all mutli-choice formats. No penalties for an incorrect answer so best to guess quesitons that you can't do / haven't got time for.

Does anyone know what the written task is? Are they given a topic to write about, or are they like the English test in packs?
