there is a raw score converter... put in the marks and see how many UMS that gets

I am fed up of never being able to equate the information on DSs' exam results with anything meaningful on any of the exam board websites.

For example, ds2 has just got the results of the first part of his science gcses (OCR I think). The marks on his results sheet are:

Biology - 124 (A)
Chemistry - 110 (B)
Physics - 120 (A)

I often hear people say their child only just scraped a particular grade or were only a couple of marks of the next. How do they know? How can they find out?! Any advice gratefully received!

I am struggling with EDexel ( IGCSE)- we have points given for English language and literature and Maths but no mark - and I really would like to know what mark the points are equivalent to and what the boundaries are. Othe exams have the points, the mark and the grade. This is very complicated!
Any ideas?? The exam appears to be the edexcel certificates.

Belinda - many thanks. I had looked at that table before but must have been looking at the wrong lines. Thanks for making it clearer!
