Girls/boys/mixed? Selective or not?

Clare's Court, Maidenhead? LVS, Ascot? Not many selective ones in the immediate area due to the 11plus. How far are you prepared to travel?

Have you tried google? Maybe then if you mention some schools people will give you their opinion.

Not many around here due to the grammar system. Some out Wokingham / Reading way - but that may be too far for you? As others have said - do some google research first - then others will help I am sure!

I am looking at Long Close in Slough, does anyone have any kids at this school, any feedback?

Does anyone have any kids at this school, what are your thoughts on Long Close?

Ealing Independent doesn't have the best of reputations, as there are so many other indies locally which seem to be preferred. If you are prepared to look as far away as Ealing then what about St Benedicts or Notting Hill, both of which take some children in Y9? up. Alternatively, and possibly nearer Slough depending on which part you live there is St Helens, Northwood and Heathfield?

My son was in LongClose school when he was in year 5, school is good and it was non-selective. I guess for secondary also they are non-selective. They dont have A levels so again in 4/5 years time u have to start thinking about another school who offers 6th form.
