sorry i cant produce the question,

anti clockwise should be D but the answer sheet says B!

am i missing something??

The answer B is correct. The circle is divided into twelve sectors. Therefore, each sector is 360 divided by 12, 30 degrees. Take point on the circle and rotate it 5 sections anticlockwise (150 degrees) - they have also shown the direction of the turn by an arrow. Point A will come to rest one sector past the arrow. Therefore, the arrow must be pointing at B. Hope this helps.

Sorry I think I must be missing something. I did the same divided sections so that each is 30degrees but if we start at the point of the arrow which is exactly west of the circle 5 sections anti clockwise is D

The question asks you to turn the circle. The arrow remains static. I hope this is clear now.
