Travel times from Solihull and free map to share

Post by HappyRobot »

Hi Guys,

I am trying to work out travel times to various schools from center of Solihull (say the Holiday Inn or Touchwood).

Here is a map that I am willing to share if you guys could give me travel times to:

Five Ways
Warwick
KES Stratford
Camp Hill
King Edwards Boys

I've included Solihull school in the map...but don't need the times ;-)

Link to my map, showing where schools are http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks okanagon.

Ooh and when I mean travel times...I mean via the green bus or the usual modes of transport (except driving) that your dcs used to travel from sollihul to these schools.

Hi,
Sadly I have looked at these routes even before Ds took exam!!
If you go on green bus website, they have maps with bus stops and times, from what I can see the times are for ' main' bus stops but will also stop at others on the same route.
Hope this helps!

My DC travel on green bus for 20 mins so near the end of the journey to school and close to the beginning coming home. They can get on one of two buses -one from Solihull which is generally about 5 mins late most days, depending on traffic but we have to be at the bus stop on time as occasionally it is a couple of mins late. The second bus from Kidderminster is either on time or 1 or 2 mins late. The Bus from Solihull has a busier route to school with more traffic. Coming home, both buses arrive around the time they state on the website. They have the same reliable drivers each day who swoop up the kids quickly and off they go. So the times published on the green bus website are not too far out for the FW5 and very accurate for the FW6. That is my experience. Koala
