Maths assessment papers Bond book 1
Need help with this question There are 364 children in a school. There are 18 more girls than boys
There are ......... girls
There are ......... boys
There are ......... girls

Half the total
182 boys/182 girls, then take 9 (half the difference) off the boys and add to the girls
173 boys / 191 girls
Hope that makes sense

Add the 18 to this to get the number of girls (191)
