Rubbers
DD had her pencils taken away from her on Saturday as they had rubbers on the top (so did lots of other girls).
Is there a rule in Lincs or is it just KGGS?
Also - on the NVR - if you circle, for example B, then decide it is D so cross out B. How do you show that you meant B if you change your mind again? When practising, she has just rubbed it out.
Hope that is clear?!

Re: Rubbers
Mine were allowed rubbers! So either a new rule or a particular school rule.
If there is more than one correction and it may not be clear, it may be best to draw attention to the answer which is the one you want by drawing a bigger circle round it with maybe an arrow pointing or an annotation "this one!" The tests are hand marked so the marker should be able to tell if the child has made it clear - have seen some VERY messy papers where the marker has still managed to decipher the correct answer.

Re: Rubbers
QEHS don't allow rubbers (+ confiscate them) and they provide pencils.
