hidden word questions

I may have dreamt it but I thought I'd seen, somewhere on this site, a list of 'tricky' hidden four letter words - can't find it now. Does anyone know if this exists and if so where? Would be really really useful right about now!!

Not sure whether there is a list. Sometimes the child just does not know its a word other times they just do not see it.

Off the top of my head, some common problem words...

veto, ache, echo, stun, shun, ewes, isle, tomb, ever, sate, eyes, aide, tyre, lobe, saga, exit, area, ally, airy, arid, edge, echo

A few I remember ds not spotting instantly were:
The blaze started soon after darkness fell.
The others have gone on ahead.
The fog reduced visibility to a few metres.
The United States of America
An evening of local folk songs and dancing.
