A-Z of question types

Post by SunlampVexesEel »

My son is really struggling with the 'code' questions i.e type C, K, L, N, P, U. Any tips?
HIKNOS
Where can I find a list that describes what these letters mean?

I can find references suggesting a mapping of HIKNOS to other question types but I'm more after a list that shows them all.

TIA

Dear SVE

The A-Z are in fact A-S then U then Z ie the 21 types of questions used by NFER for Verbal Reasoning tests. The 21 types are used by many parts of the country including Bucks and the Wirral.

The letters have been indexed by a publisher called IPS

I have the bond book which sets out how to do 50 types of verbal reasoning.

Can anyone tell me which of these types come up in the verbal reasoning nfer tests?

Thanks
