CAT tests question
Idle curiosity really, but is the maximum score in CAT tests 141? I thought it was, but the range given on our school website in my DS's on line information says 69-150. Does anyone know which is correct? A minor distraction while you are all waiting for 11plus results

Re: CAT tests question
Sorry, Scary, obviously nobody cares about CAT scores at the moment. I tried googling but couldn't find anything useful. I thought that the min was 69 and the max 141 (as it is for IQ tests usually as well).
Oh well...maybe ask the school

Re: CAT tests question
We got CAT test results for my son last week. Definately out of 141 as it is age standardized (and it said it on the sheet). We got raw score, standardized score and pecentile score. Hope that helps.
Re: CAT tests question
Sorry to be ignorant, but what is CAT and how can one take them? Is it taken at schools or something additional?
Re: CAT tests question
Cognitive Ability Tests - they are often taken in year 7 for setting or target setting. Just Google or do a search on here and you will find lots of information.

Re: CAT tests question
Yes, it is out of 141 Scarymum.
Tests are in a similar vein to VR/NVR that we all know and love on the forum.
