Applying online
Is anyone else having problems applying online?
I've just tried to lot into the Kent site to make the final choices and I keep on coming up with a message saying that the certificate for the website has expired. Safari will let me go into it anyway, after telling me that it may not be a genuine website but Internet Explorer won't let me open it at all.
Is anyone else having the same problem?
The site address I have is http://www.kent.gov.uk/ola" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm now panicking that I've missed the cut off date even though I know I haven't.

It's a problem their end.

Oh dear, their SSL certificate expired yesterday - not very good when the deadline is this week!
If you don't mind submitting on an unsecure, non SSL page, you can put in http://ola.kent.gov.uk in the address bar, including the http:// which worked for me just now.

I had the same problem a while back trying to get onto a different site.
Check your date and time settings on your own computer as that was the problem for me.

Hi Angie, it's not your computer that's the problem here, it's KCC's server - see my previous post.

My computer is fine lol but I had exact same type of thing come up once when I tried to log into my bank. It was my computers date that was wrong due to clocks being altered which meant my computer date and time were different to that of the site I was accessing.
