Consistency in work
How can you promote consistency?
My son will go through papers and do extremely well and then after months and months of studying will find the simplest question hard and fail an entire paper!
I understand mood can reflect performance and routine can promote consistency but can anyone suggest anything else that may help us?

Re: Consistency in work
Perhaps you're overloading him with too much work, on top of school work. Perhaps he is too tired to concentrate, depending on when he does the papers. How much work are you getting him to do?
Re: Consistency in work
I'd not be doing papers for "months and months". Initially, to spot areas which need work, and then closer to the date to get used to working to a time schedule - but not all the time. Could you try dropping the papers and working in a more focussed way on particular subject areas for a while?
