Our snow poet is back ...

Post by Sally-Anne »

Princes Risborough School:

Message earlier today

We will check every hour
Inform all within our power
No plans yet to close
The decision is Mr Rowe's

Changed an hour ago to:

School will now close at noon.
Buses will be arriving soon.
Please collect children from the town.
Roads from school would make you frown.
Please try to avoid phoning in.
The numbers are overwhelmin'!

Not quite what he said at 8.30 this morning!

He wasn't so poetic then!

Today's episode:

Open or not? The question teasing;
Dependent on the snow re-freezing.
Forecast suggests zero or below -
Transport likely to be a no go!
On this basis you’ll know I chose,
Reluctantly, the school to close.
No exams can thus take place
The summer session will replace.
As for Tuesday? I really don’t know.
I’ll post again dependent on snow.

A very refreshing change from all the verbiage about Elf & Safety.

my nieces are waiting to see what happens, last missive was that they would have to come in, but about 70%+ come into the school from outlying villages so it is dodgy
