I've been checking everyday for the update, got distracted today, looks like tinker  has been checking twice a day.

Good news, the forum and above can provide help and guidance, bad news the crowding of high scores will continue. :?

Once or twice a week, I'm just lucky.

Like you I suspect Kendrick may change from GL in the near future. So many high results does mean that one question right or wrong makes a significant difference to the standardised score.

From raw scores we have seen, I guessimate 90% gives around 112, 98% gives 130+ (depending on birth month etc).

Will be interesting to see how many apply this time round.

First things first :) Will be interesting to see how this year's new variables early exam and designated area affect the final outcome.

Which may then influence how many apply next year.

Not too long now

So, who else is applying this autumn? Dd3 is going to do it, although as a September birthday, I think it's just going to be too high a bar to jump - she'd have to be getting a good 95% I'm thinking? Anyway, we'll try, see what happens.

We are aware of at least 5 girls from Dd's current primary school who will be taking the test this year. 90% + should be achievable with good prep, excellent performance on the day and most of all a happy, confident and intelligent child. Good luck to all for 1st October 2013 :)

I have two DDs who are both keen to try... I try to keep an optimistic (and yet realistic!) attitude to all this, hopefully they will too. We have lined up a tutor and have just started prepping more seriously now.

In our (state) primary, there seems to be many girls who are also keen to try, maybe up to 10 at the last count. We're all very optimistic
