i realise this is old data, but doesn't it add to the view expressed in the telegraph this week that summer babies are disadvantaged? More than twice as many successful appeals if you we're born in sept/oct/nov than in June/jul/aug?

maybe more kids with autumn birthdays appealed? Maybe actually higher percentage of summer kids were successful... we need the denominator1

Agreed. I know this doesn't stack up to detailed analytical rigour, but with an August born child, beginning to make me wonder if the stats are stacked against me!
