q1 - 2537
to the nearest 1000 would be 3000 so that one is correct
to the nearest 100 would be 2500 - (400 is not right)
to the nearest 10 would be 2540 (nearly right but you need the whole number)

Re: Need help please
Round to the nearest ten means that the answer will be a multiple of 10 (i.e. it will end in 0) - e.g. 10, 170 or 2450
numbers ending in 0 up to 4 (or 4.99999 if there are decimal places) will round down
numbers ending in 5 up to 9 (or 9.99999 if there are decimal places) will round up
Round to the nearest tenth means the answer will have only one decimal place - e.g. 242.3, 69.2 or 154.0
You should now be able to see that only 1a and 2a-2d are correct.
No try to work out the correct answers for the other ones (1b, 1c, 2e, 3a, 3c). If you still can't see the correct answers use your mouse to highlight the space between the rows of asterisks and they'll magically appear

1b - 2500
1c - 2540
2e - 18
3a - 20cm
3c - 23.5cm

Re: Need help please
I think 5 of the number in Q5 would round to 2.6
Re: Need help please
A quick glance but 1b isn't right and you have missed a couple of correct answers from the last question
Re: Need help please
I can recommend the Usborne Illustrated Dictionary of Maths, it covers basic stuff like rounding reallly well and has internet links.
Re: Need help please
You should ask your maths teacher for help with this if you are still stuck.
