I am so delighted to hear this after that horrible nervous making time you had - Congrats to your DD.

Afraid I only know Francis Holland and I think tis a truly gorgeous school - really nurtures its girls, Head knows them all individuallly and chats to them in teh corridor - good results too, especially since Ithink it excels in getting the most out of girls who were a bit less confident at 11... and seems to have room for all types to thrive.

I love it and would be proud to ahve a daughter there!

Thank you.

It is a dilemma...hopefully the St Helens meeting tonight may assist in making the final choice.

I don't know anything about FH but I have a dd at St Helen's. She's in Year 7 so we went through this last year. She is v happy there and so far I have been v impressed with the school. Very good teaching, dd used to struggle a bit with Maths but in 6 months she's improved immensely, good languages, they all do 2 languages in Year 7 then Latin in Year 8, loads of clubs and a really nurturing feel. Let me know if you want to know anything else.
