NVR Bond new edition books

Can any of the tutors active on this forum please advise me on the Bond New edition books? My daughter, who will take the NFER exam in Jan is struggling with the 'More'/'Further papers' in book 4. Sometimes, making 15 to 18 mistakes in a paper of 60 marks. She never seems to get the shapenets/cubes right eventhough I have spent considerable time cutting them out and showing her.
Also, can you tell me whether it is necessary to do the further/more papers (book 4 and 5) in the Bond New Edition Maths books? She has worked on book 4 and half of book 5 (old edition) earlier.
