School Catchment query- Royal Latin

Post by gadsby78 »

Can someone advise where Bucks County Council post their catchment mileage (not map)? As the catchment distance seems to vary from year to year and it would be interesting to know if they post the actual mileage in relation to catchment area before the deadline to submitting school preferences, as year on year the maps seem to look the same.
Also would anyone know where they publish their reasons for altering the catchment area from one year to the next?
School we are looking at specifically is the Royal Latin.

Thanks to any one can help me....

The catchment is fixed and is the same each year.

The distance offers go out to changes according to how many people who apply qualify and where they live. Look at the allocation profiles to get an idea; it was straight line distances this year.

There is a postcode checker on http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/bcc/schools/e ... ecker.page" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to see of you are in catchment.
