Challoner's tends to be harder to get into (see other posts on this forum, but some years they don't even have room for all who live IN catchment, where as RGS has had spare places in recent years).
Not that necessarily makes Challoner's better for your son, but it does mean that if you do prefer it, you need to look carefully at where you live to decide if it's a viable choice.

Thanks for your replies, Son has SEN. is currently going to RGS but wanted to send him to DCGS. They did not want him gave hundreds of accuses, appealed and won but stayed with RGS because they were very keen to have him. Son doing really well! Just wondering if we did make the right choice in the end??????
