The letters should have been posted first class yesterday, but unfortunately there are tales of woe every year with them not arriving on the Saturday. Occasionally it is a problem at the County Hall end, but more frequently it is the Royal Mail at fault. If you don't receive a letter in Monday's post, give the Admissions team a call.

Be aware though that they will be very busy because the Primary School allocations went out at the end of this week as well. You may need to be patient when trying to get through to them.

Yes, you could do that - those letters should go out on Wednesday first class.

I got the letter today.
The letter was posted first class yesterday.
Should come on Monday, if it didn't arrive today.
Good news for us.
Good luck JPK.

I need some help. It's about the second allocation. I didn't hear anything yet. We are on the waiting list. Will they send us a letter or do we have to wait until they allocate everybody? Please somebody clear my doubts.

I now have a copy of the Second Round Allocation Profile. Although most schools have allocated an extra place or two, many of those have gone to late applicants already living within the Allocation distance from 1st March.

The following schools have allocated further out:

AHS to 17.746 miles (was 16.876)
BHS to 8.899 miles (was All In-Area)
BGS to 10.084 miles (was 8.414)
RLS to 7.693 (was 5.744)
