Skegness Grammar
Is this school really as bad as everyone is making out ?
Would a child who passed the 11+ be better in Skegness Academy ?

Now I am intrigued!
I am told there is a new head there who is determined to maintain "grammar school standards" and that they have fought the non-qualification appeals this year - none of the practices which happened last year.

Well what are people saying?
I haven't heard anything about it and I know people with children there.

Other grammars didn't bother to put up much of a fight either, but then I have no problem with them filling spare places rather than lose teachers.Alex wrote:that they have fought the non-qualification appeals this year - none of the practices which happened last year.

Re: Skegness Grammar
Is there any more news on Skegness Grammar, I am really concerned, so many children seem to be pulling out and moving to alternative grammar schools. Do not know which way to go at the moment?

Getting really worried my child joins this September, but after all the bad press, I really do not know what to do, I hear that lots of children are already leaving to go to alternative school, does anyone know what is going on?
