We did it

Post by U400JB9 »

Having been unsuccessful in our appeal last week, we went to appeal to a different Grammar this week.....
It was a seriously long shot as it is so oversubscribed

AND WE WERE SUCCESSFUL
Thankyou so much for all your support

I'm so thrilled :D :D :D

She doesn't know yet  In fact she doesn't know we went to the appeal as i didn't want her to be disappointed. Her best friend is already going there so that's the icing on the cake.
Her sister is at a different grammar in a different direction.... :?

Wow huge congrats U400JB9 - that is amazing. Well done you :)

Which school was it you appealed to?

Your DD will be sooo excited if it's where her best friend is going to - what a lovely ending to a long journey for you all.

Grandpa was obv. looking after you all ;)

Aww Twinkles you just made me cry. Grandpa would be so proud.

Sir Roger Manwood in Sandwich. DD 1 is at Langton in Canterbury, so opposite buses in opposite directions. I'm sure we'll cope 8)

Oh sorry I didn't mean to make you cry!

I have heard really good things about Roger Manwood, I'm sure DD2 will thrive there.

What a lovely surprise it will be for your DD, I hope you have a great celebration planned? I would be partying all half term LOL!

Am so pleased for you that you got the results that your DDs deserved and that you can finally look ahead to the future with more optimism.

xx
