Transport from Cheltenham to Ribston/Crypt-poss new service?

Please see post below as I wanted to clarify matters.

Both us and some other parents are really not happy with the bus service provided by a private company and are thinking of enquiring about an alternative bus from Cheltenham to Ribston/Crypt and just wondered if others are interested also. An alternative to the usual one currently provided is apparently possible if enough people are interested and would like to change.

I pm'd the other two posters and explained that it doesn't look like we have enough to make it work unfortunately, and also it's a bit late for this year (I think forms have to be back to current company by 21st or else we may lose our place - beggars can't be choosers after all!). Looks like we'll have to put up with them for another year. Thanks though.

Thanks. It's such a shame, I'm sure so many people share the same opinion about this. We should maybe look again at this after Christmas and try to get something in place for September 2014. I know that a new service is starting from Tewkesbury so it is possible to get something up and running and I'm sure it would be worth it!

It is a shame and I don't rule it out for the future. I recently contacted the people organising the Tewkesbury route but unfortunately it isn't possible, as they would be going down the A38. I believe they are joining up with another service.

Back to the drawing board but will have to put up with the shambles in the meantime!
