MiDAS Testing

Does anyone have any info on MiDAS testing?

I was told DS will be sitting this test in his new secondary school but that was it. No further info was given

I think you may find that it's MidYIS testing. There is a lot of info about these tests online. They are supposed to measure ability & aptitude for learning as far as I can gather. My DS sat them at his school. The results were not shared with the parents-they were for internal use only!

Do nothing! Enjoy the summer. Your boy has got into his lovely school; these are internal tests which are used to track progress within the establishment. You have nothing to worry about.
