Bus from Cheadle/Didsbury to AGGS?

Hi
Now in a mad scramble to get all the requisite details
I know the 706 bus runs from Parrs Wood to AGGS.
Does anyone know if this is non-stop or does it stop elsewhere on the way?

Any other options from Cheadle to the school please?

It stops all the way- and they have made it earlier due to the chaos round the Airport metrolink work. We stopped using it because of it being late for school, about a year ago.

IT might have improved now though. From Cheadle is it the 371 or the 11 public buses as well- it's the 370 from our end though it does go round the houses. We also have the tram option from East Didsbury- but my son prefers the bus. Once they get to Alty there are lots of kids walking up to school.

Excellent thanks. The 11 bus stop is at the bottom of our road. I was just a little worried about the walk from the bus stop up the hill to the school....

No problem at all. The walk will be fine- as I said there are lots of others walking up, she will be fine. My son loves the socialising esp with the AGGS girls

Hope you get fixed up with uniform- had you bought all the other school stuff??

Oh yes! Thankfully Monkhouse refunded without batting an eyelid.
Now have to go to new supplier in Stretford and hope they have it all in stock....
Then to Alty Monkhouse for the PE stuff
